Background
Whitey was always the life of the party. Always making people laugh and sometimes even making others mad. He was headstrong on the things he loved, cared deeply for and believed. Served as a sergeant in the military, airforce to be exact. He ended his years in the military as a weather specialist forecaster. Growing up, he would explain what certain cloud formations were called and what he would see in the radars. It was always really cool and he came to my school and spoke about it one year. Drove semi's for many, many years for multiple companies and retired from doing that. Went overseas as a contract driver for a few years, too. He was an avid reader. I would always remember he had books with him. Do you remember "That 70's Show"? He would always tell me that was his life growing up. He was Eric Foreman and his dad (my grandpa) was Red. Whenever I watch that show, I think of him. I know there's so much more, but I could make this into a novel if I went there.
Anyway, he passed unexpectedly on Monday, 7/22/24 in his apartment. I would like to honor his last wishes to be cremated and this site is to assist with the funds. Anything with help and I appreciate any help.
Remember Whitey for who he was at his best times. I am still deciding if there will be a celebration of life for him. More to come. Contribute
