Robert Arthur Bates, 52, of Silver Spring, Maryland, passed away on August 27, 2022 after a short illness of pneumonia. Bobby was born on May 11, 1970 to Robert Paul Bates and Sonya Jean Osborne in Takoma Park, Maryland. After graduating from Wheaton High School in 1988, he went on to study computer science at Montgomery College and then University of Maryland, Baltimore.  He continued to work for Domino's Pizza franchises in the different cities he lived.   Bobby had many online friends and managed to keep in contact with extended family throughout the country.  Robert was predeceased by both parents. He is survived by his sister, Marshie Ruth Bates of Rockville, MD, his paternal aunt, Margaret Amundson and many cousins.
