Robert's obituary
Robert, born to Katherine Louise Huffman Moore and Willie Edwin Sr, took his first breath on October 13, 1955 in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Robert was a distinguished, intelligent man from the get go. During his childhood, he attended grade school at Sartartia & Redwood, Mississippi where he earned the nickname "Turkey". Robert later graduated from Bentonia & Tri-County Academy Highschool. He pursued college at the University of Mississippi while serving in the United States Air Force; Robert's military occupation was in aviation systems. Only a few short months into his duties at Lowry Air Force Base in 1976, he found his wife of 47 years, Jayne Sarah Moore (1957-2022). Highly revered during a full 20 years; aiding in support of Desert Shield/Storm, where some of the training videos he arranged during his tenure are still in use today. When Robert retired, he devoted most of his time to information technology. You would most likely find him reformatting his computer and tinkering with all technology that goes with. We will miss him dearly. A small service will be held at Morrill Cemetery the weekend of October 27th, when the last daughter arrives. He will be buried next to his spouse like he wanted. He is survived by four daughters, Elizabeth Moore, Rachel Moore, Heather Pomerleau, and Abigail McCommas. He also has a sole remaining sibling, a brother, Willie Jr. Moore- standing strong in Bentonia, Mississippi.
