In loving memory of our father, Robert Alarid, who passed away on August 16, 2022. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 72 years, Patricia, his sister Mary, four sons: Michael, Martin, Mark and Matthew, three grandchildren: Jason, Thomas, and Benjamin, and great grandchild Zofia.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.  

Robert was a dedicated patriot serving his country for over 22 years in the Air Force, achieving the  rank of Master  Sergeant.  He flew 72 Combat Missions in the Korean Conflict where his crew dropped flares over front lines to illuminate the enemy advancing troops in support of the the U.S. ground forces.  His many honors include National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, ROK Citation, United Nations Service Medal,  Air Medal w/3 OLC, Air Crew Member Badge, and Good Conduct Medal.

The funeral service will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 507 Scott Street, Folsom, California on August 27, 2022, at 1:00 pm.

Dad, you will live on in our hearts forever.  Rest in peace.
