River was a force to be reckoned with. He has the energy of a race horse, the fierce resolve of a champion, the heart of a young child, and the sensitivity of a deeply emotional and creative human far beyond his years. The light and abundance of individuality and creative energy he exuded always amazed me, and his ability to give and receive love no matter how difficult the situation was overwhelming. I have met someone in my longer life that was a shorter visitor, and yet he has effected me more than most ever will. He holds a place in my heart that can never be removed and feels very empty. But I hear him at times, and hold onto the fact that his journey continues in a more peaceful and loving place.
