Rita Anne Pero, 31, entered into heaven on August 27, 2024. She was born on May 21, 1994 to Joseph William Pero and AnneMarie Kayashima in Van Nuys, California. She is survived by her three older siblings: Joseph Patrick Pero, Thomas William Pero, and Mary Patricia Pero. 

As the youngest, Rita was always quick to make a witty or smart joke. She loved making people laugh, and sought ways to get someone to give her a smile. She memorized the lines to Tupac, loved Rihanna and loved a wide variety of music. Rita was always eager to hear what someone was listening to at the moment. 

In highschool, Rita excelled at track and field, and had a strong passion for running. Rita enjoyed being outside and spending time at the beach. Her perfect day involved tacos and just spending a day watching the waves roll in and out.
