Rita M. Boatner passed away at Phelps County hospital in Rolla, Mo June 28, 2021. She was born June 19, 1965 to Richard Wilson and Mildred (Spencer) Becker in Jefferson City, Mo. Rita attended high school in New Franklin, Mo. Rita spent the better part of her life as a caregiver to the elderly and then as a babysitter later in her days. Rita’s home was full of love and always open to everyone. She had no problem opening her door and offering a glass of her famous tea to anyone to lend an ear or a shoulder if and when needed. Rita was preceded in death by her father Richard Wilson and Joann Brucks. She is survived by her mother Mildred Becker of Ashley Manor of Boonville, Mo, husband Robert Boatner of Rolla, Mo, sisters Becky (Virgil) King of Glasgow, Mo and Jerri Wilson of Clarksburg,Mo. Daughter Antonia (Nate) Evans of Sedalia, Mo, sons Antonio (Christian) Wixom of Peoria, Il and Brent (Maddie) Beechamp of Clinton, Ia. Cheyenne and Zachary Boatner of Eldon, Mo and grandson Terrance Wixom of Germany. Rita had several nieces and nephews and as she called them “adopted” kids that called her Mom, Mama Rita, and Nanna
