Rictor's obituary
We deeply regret to announce the peaceful passing of Mr. Rictor Meadley, who bid farewell to this earthly voyage on November 13, 2024. Born on May 2, 1984, Rictor was a model of fortitude and a beacon of love and laughter for all who knew him.
Rictor is survived by his loving spouse, Amanda Adams, and their 6 children. Their love story was one of deep and unyielding devotion, providing an example of profound partnership for all who knew them. His absence will leave an echoing void in the lives of those he leaves behind.
Remembered as an accomplished individual, Rictor graduated with Doctorates in Engineering from Syracuse, NY in 2007. He was a man of intelligence and ambition, committed to not only learning about the world but also to making it a better place.
Rictor was passionate about recreational activities such as fishing, hiking, playing soccer and cherishing every moment spent with his family. He found solace and vitality in the grandeur of nature, and his enthusiasm was infectious. His favorite vacation spot was his beloved hometown in Jamaica, a place which held lifelong memories and provided him immense joy and tranquility.
Deeply family-oriented, Rictor committed to causes that prioritized the well-being and harmony of family, living by the belief that family is not just an important thing, it's everything.
A memorial service celebrating Rictor's life will be held on December 11 and 12th, 2024, at a private location. The burial service will subsequently take place on December 18, 2024, at 9:00 AM at Roman's Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor Rictor's love for his family by spending quality time with your own.
