Breaks my heart that we will never get to have any 2 to 4 hour FaceTime just talking about absolutely nothing or when I come up to Michigan, I looked forward to that night that I get to stay with you and just hang till 2-3 in the morning.  Out of everything I’m glad to say that, even though we may have not had a solid relationship for 13 years of my life till you reached out but from that point forward, I felt like your son in and out, and I’m blessed that I had the time the talks and the memories of you. Your memory will live on forever. I love you always Pops a day by day till we meet again.

sincerest apologies for your loss. Rico was more than just a friend; he was a constant source of humor and loyalty, qualities that defined his relationships. During my younger years, I had the pleasure of spending time with him and Derrick, creating memories that have endured despite the passage of time. Even though Rico's familial connection to my spouse would suggest otherwise, the demands of adulthood led us to lose touch. Our chance meeting at his mother's funeral was a poignant reminder of his resilience and humor. Despite his efforts to reconnect, my own priorities intervened, and I regret that I did not make his visit a reality. Learning of his passing via social media was disheartening, underscoring the regret of not prioritizing our reunion. Both Rico and Derrick were pillars of loyalty, and their bond with me remains unbroken by time or circumstance. Rico's loss is deeply felt, and the thought of what could have been lingers. Rest in peace, brother; my thoughts are with you.
