I've known him at work for 15 years , he was never not able to make me laugh or tell me a story about the world in 2 ways normal whats going on in the world but main one being his life which was his family, he loved you all so much and never failed to tell that in his stories. I worked with Rick for over 15 years when he came to first community village. He was about family and his wife he loved camping and taking care of his family. He was a good friend and like an uncle to my boys. I would leave my boys with him at work and he would always take care of them. We talked alot about the military especially me being a veteran and being deployed and it helped me to talk about some of it. It was really helpful to talk with him when I got my cancer diagnosis and my treatment, I could ask him questions and he would always find an answer. We will miss him. Rest in peace 🙏 🪦
