Rick and I bonded as the last two Savage Man Legacy Climbers that would never outlast Josh Beck. We laughed about it. I was always glad to see Rick every year at the Savage Man Triathlon because he was my brother-in-slowness.

I will absolutely miss him this year and race in his honor.
