Richard "Rick" Rostron , 75, of Largo , Florida , passed away on the 17th of August 2021. He was born to parents Richard Rostron and Agnes Ethel Garside, on July 7,1946 in New Bedford , Ma. He was a life long resident of New Bedford until moving to Largo, Florida after retirement.

Rick worked as a Commercial Scalloper & General Contractor for number of years.
His children and grandchildren meant everything to him! He seemed to know everyone and was always there to help a friend. Lover of motorcycles, family, friends

Served 4 years in the US Navy

Richard leaves behind his loving partner Susan Carey

And is survived by,
his sister Ethel Theresa Caron
His daughter Lee-Ann Miller and son Darryll de Sousa
5 grandsons: Joshua de Sousa,
Joshua Harrison, Brandon Lewis, Dylan de Sousa, Noel Larrivee
2 granddaughters Brittney Larrivee, Brittny de Sousa
8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephew

Due to his dual residency and amount of incredible friendships the family has decided to have 2 celebrations of life
On Saturday August 21st Florida local friends are invited to celebrate at Blvd Pub & Grub 9919 Seminole Blvd, Largo, FL from 3-5. Come join us for a light snack and raise a toast to Rick. Please bring your favorite photo if you have any!

For our Northern friends and family members please join us Sunday August 29th from 1-5 at Cento Luzo located at 34 Beetle st New Bedford, ma. We ask that you please bring a dish to share for a pot luck farewell to Rick. Bringing your favorite photos will brighten the day and give so many stories to share
