God gave the Tricky D 60 years on this planet, and it still was not enough, so he’s moved on. Chasing dovetails at the speed of light, at Godspeed Rick does fly amongst the dusted space of our ancestors. Rick was a guy. A good guy, one could say. He tripped over his lips when he’d get mad, instant karma was his way. He spoke of his children, who he honored and adored. He played with Jaeger and Pete Pete, who loved him deeply in return. He cultivated spores that only a Golden Teacher could produce. The product was laughter and adventure, with Sharon he did ride. Ape hanging from a bike he liked, chopping 90 miles an hour in the wind. Pushing air over the reeds, an E Minor blues would arise. He was one of my main core friends, it’s painful to know he’s no longer here. From our fateful flotilla down the fucking Salt River, to our own private fireworks shows, Rick was a good guy, one could say.

Through the years, I came to know Rick while attending BBQs and tubing down the Salt River with his friend David Boosamra. I adored his hearty laugh. He was quite a character. Kind and strong. Love and Light to the family and friends. God Bless.

I got to know Rick through my grandkids dad. When we all got together whether it was a birthday party or one of the kids baseball games he greeted us like we were family.
Gone to soon my friend!
