Richard Glenn Welch of Foley, MO went home to be with Jesus on July 3, 2021. He passed away in his sleep peacefully at Windsor Place in St. Charles, Mo.

Richard G Welch was born to Vernon and Velma Welch on July 15, 1952.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving husband and father, Richard also loved hunting and fishing. Throughout his life, he did his best to help those who needed it. His kind heart was accented by his loud mouth, for example, yelling at the “suckin’ fish” when they didn’t bite.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Velma Welch, and his siblings Gary Welch, Vernon Lee Welch, Paul Welch, Barbara Welch, David Welch, and Shirley Welch.

He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Welch, his children Richard (Teresa) Welch, Jeff (Jackie) Welch, and Amy Hicks; his step children Kelly (Richard) Hamilton, Woody (Cece) Woods and Josh Woods; and his brother, Robert Welch. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be a Memorial Service/Celebration of Life on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from noon – 4pm at Harvest Time Ministries Church (306 North Business 61, Bowling Green MO 63334). There will be a carry-in dinner to follow.
