It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Vibbert, who departed from this world on April 29, 2025. Born on February 9, 1946, Richard, affectionately also known as Pepi, lived a life full of joy, humor, generosity, and above all, love.

Richard leaves behind an extensive and loving family who will cherish his memory. His family includes his daughter, Deanna (Mike) Romano, son, Paul (Vicki) Vibbert, and their mother and former wife, Barbara (Russel) Smart. His beloved grandchildren are Tiffany (Rich) Mills, Jessica (Jim) Barker, Michael Romano, Kara (Adam) McCall, and Ryan (Morgan) Vibbert. His legacy is also carried on through his adored great-grandchildren, Reghan Barker, Julian Mills, Braylon Barker, Makaelah Mills, Nathan McCall, Jordan Mills, Brianna Barker, Brooke McCall, and Margot Vibbert. Richard was preceded in death by his father, Burton Vibbert, and mother, Lillian (Reed) Vibbert. 

As the caring brother to Tom (Gloria) Vibbert, Donald (Lisa) Vibbert, Ken Vibbert, Patty (Joe) Miller, and Sue Vibbert, Richard will be deeply missed within his sibling circle. Uncle Wonderful leaves behind many loved nieces and nephews. His loss will also resonate within the wider family and among his many friends.

Richard was a man of remarkable personality traits, best described as fun, outgoing, giving, loving, compassionate, and witty. He lived his life by the lessons that he shared with others: to love and live life to the fullest, surrounded by the people you love most. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed sharing his love of the game with everyone who would play a round with him. 

The true testament to Richard's life lies in his family, which is his most cherished legacy. He imparted a sense of unity, love, and warmth that will be carried forward by all those he has left behind.

While we mourn the loss of Richard Vibbert, we also celebrate an extraordinary life well-lived, filled with love and happiness. His memory will forever remain etched in our hearts.
