My brother, Richard had a heart of gold.  What some may not know about him is how he took care of us kids when our dad was sick.  He made sure we had milk and bread in the house.  He would share his earnings with our mom.  He would buy her furniture and a much needed washer and dryer.  He was one of the kindest and most loving people I have ever known.  I was blessed to have him for my brother.   I miss him terribly.  I will miss golfing with him.  He taught me how to hit out of a sandtrap and how to hold the club properly.  He was also one of the best card players ever.  I will really miss playing Spades with him.  I will also miss the game of Charades and the family movies we used to create.   Richard was so family oriented.  There was nothing he loved more than his family.  That I understand completely.   I will be coming to his Celebration of Life.  It will be a sad event for sure.  But at his end, it was Richard who will bring his whole family back together again.  He used to say to me, "I love you my sister."  I love you too, my brother.  I always have and I always will.  May you rest in the loving arms of Jesus, until we meet again.

I am so deeply saddened by the loss of my beloved brother. My sincere condolences to his children, Deanna and Paul, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. My brother was like a surrogate father to us growing up. He always made sure we were okay. He was so family oriented, he always lived to get together. I am going to miss him dearly.
