Richard Joseph Stone was born on March 13 , 1955 in Salt Lake City , Utah. He went home to JESUS on May 29, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his parents Val Franklin Stone and Carol Joan Phillips Stone. He was also preceded in death by his son Robert Joseph Stone and his brother Bart Stone .

He is survived by wife of 36 years Shirley M. Stone , a daughter Carol A . Stone of Florida and 2 sons Rick Stone Jr. and J.R. Mendenhall of Utah . 2 brothers Brett Stone of Nevada and Randy of Utah.
He also is survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Rick was a teamster who was a material handler for PIE Nationwide , Linvatec & Conmed , and Eva Tone.
He was a member of Kings Gate Ministries , A Born again Christian who loved to worship the LORD . He was known to be
A quiet man whose thoughts ran deep and were expressed many times through one line zingers.

Rick was known in his community as Santa because of the community outreaches he participated in . He loved children and loved giving them small gifts to put a smile on their faces and make their day.

Rick passed at home while attended by his wife Shirley and daughter Carol under Hospice care . He had recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s .
