Rick's obituary

Richard "Rick" Stewart, 55, of Loxahatchee, FL, passed away on January 17, 2023.

Rick was born on January 5, 1968 in Royal Oak, Michigan. After graduating from Madison High School in 1986, he went on to work in the graphic design/production department of many sign companies over the years before enjoying an early retirement; where he started a thriving business involving his growing passion for orchids.

Rick was one of a kind; endearing, creative, always full of life and his family meant more to him than anything else in the world. Rick had a passion for the outdoors; spending many of his young years fishing the Au Sable River, camping, and playing guitar. In his later years, he could often be found in his shade-house admiring his orchids or fishing all body’s of water in South Florida.

Anyone who knew Rick knew that he was the most loving father and selfless man, approaching every conversation with empathy and an eagerness to help despite his own opinions or obstacles.

Rick was predeceased by his father, Richard Wayne Stewart and mother, Nancy Carrol Marsano, and Step-Father Leonard Marsano. He is survived by his Step-Mother, Patricia Stewart; Siblings, Coreen Theisen (Michael Theisen), Wendy Barton (Billy Wilson), Leni Higgins, Debra Zerwas (Keith Zerwas), Kim Mapes; His Life Partner, Candice Klee & His Children, Candice Stewart (Kyle Seewald), Cole Klee, Michaelena Dodge (Ryan Dodge), Melissa Klatzke (Daniel Klatzke), many Nieces and nephews, and a blended family of friends.
