Richard Sonsona, 67, of Livermore, California passed away on February 11, 2021 in Union City, California. Born in Martinez, California on November 19, 1953 to his late parents Honorio and Monica. He was a former meat cutter at multiple bay area grocery stores in Newark, Union City and Hayward. He attended Newark High School and later Chabot College. His favorite past time was golfing and had multiple “Holes in One” documented in his years of play.
He is survived by his son Erick (Cathy), daughter April, grandchildren Noah, Wyatt, Emmaline and Roland, his brother Henry, sisters Donna (Sonny Ito), Patty, Gloria (David Hom), Teresa (Edee Macairan), 12 nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and nephews.
The family is having a private memorial service.
