Richard David Sargo, Jr. 47 years old, died suddenly on Friday, November 24, 2023 at his home in Baltimore, MD. Rich was born on January 24, 1976 in State College, PA to Rick and Sue Sargo. After living for 8 years in Marrero, LA and 30 years in Rockville, MD Rich settled in Baltimore (Nottingham) for approximately 20 years. He taught at Mount Saint Joseph’s High School in Baltimore, worked in various restaurants and most recently worked for UPS for more than 7 years. Survivors include his parents, State College, PA; one sister, Emily Sargo, Gaithersburg, MD; ex-wife Claire Sargo and their daughter, Bellina Sargo, Baltimore, MD as well as a host of other relatives, friends, coworkers and former students. Rich served in the U.S. Army for two years and graduated from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, PA with a degree in History. He remained an avid history buff all of his life. He was also a die-hard Steelers, Pirates and Penguins fan as well as a devoted Penn State football fan. He enjoyed talking sports or history with anyone, anytime, anywhere. He will be missed by his loved ones and the many others whose lives he touched.

Rich was cremated at Evans Funeral Chapel in Parkville, MD. A Celebration of Life for Rich is planned for March 9, 2024, from 1pm-4pm, at the Hilton Garden Inn White Marsh, 5015 Campbell Blvd., Baltimore, MD 21236.
