I just wanted to say, first off, that I'm sorry this took me so long to put up. I wasn't emotionally ready to make this obituary until now. I'm still not really ready, but it needs to get done. I can't describe how much I still love this man. And if you are reading this, it means you did too. Thank you all for loving him. It meant so much to him to see everyone coming together for his birthday party, texting and calling to ask how he was doing. You all made it much easier for him to go thru the hell he had to go thru over the past couple years and I can't thank you enough.

Richard Alan Rogers II, 57, of Canton, Ohio, passed away on October 09, 2024 after a 20 month battle with the rare sarcoma, CIC-DUX4. During this entire time, he held his head high and kept a positive attitude. He fought so hard, but after multiple invasive surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapy sessions, his body could not handle any more.
