I was saddened to learn of Richard's passing. My oldest memory is from pictures of Richard on his bulldozer and backhoe taken from the window of our house as he constructed our septic in 1972. After that, he and Anita became our friends and neighbors. I will miss seeing Richard at Shop-Rite and Walgreens. My husband John often exchanged coupons with Richard. They both loved a good bargain.
One day I came home to find my beloved weeping cherry tree gone. It had grown too close to the house so John contacted Richard and he came and removed it with his backhoe while I was gone.
Richard was a good, salt of the earth, man. I feel fortunate to have called him my friend.

I'm very sorry to hear of Mr. Pfauth's passing. I grew up around the corner from the Pfauths and always remember their house being the last stop every year when trick-or-treating on Halloween. Mr. and Mrs. Pfauth would always invite us inside to sit in the living room with them to talk for a while, and they were always very kind to us. My sincere condolences for your loss.
