Richard Frank Petrello, 87, died on Sunday, July 3rd, 2022. Richard is survived by his wife of 40 years, Anne (Lane) Petrello; his sons and their spouses/companions Michael (Michelle), Christopher (Shawna), Matthew (Erica), Frederick (Michelle), Paul, Frank, Richard (Cathe). He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren: Harper, Brody, Ella, Brock, Matthew, Michaela, Hunter, Jacoby, Malerie, Sophia, Mia, Anthony, Jessica, Rebekah and Destiny. He is predeceased by his mother and father: Grace and Frank Candelora; and son; Anthony Petrello and first wife Antoinette (Napoli) Petrello. Richard was born on August 29, 1934 and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Richard was a Certified Executive Chef (CEC) and Certified Culinary Educator (CCE). His lifelong passion was culinary arts. He was a gifted chef and excellent educator. He was selected as teacher of the year numerous times in his career. He loved to cook for people and got great joy from their enjoyment of what he had prepared with skill and love. He loved his family and his country with all his heart. He leaves a legacy of laughter and great memories for all that knew and loved him. A memorial service officiated by Pastor Rice will be held at Community Congregational Church, 6533 Circle Blvd, New Port Richey, FL 34652 at 2:00pm on Sunday, July 9, 2022.
