Richard's obituary

Richard James Lawrence Pankiewicz, 68, of Homewood, IL, passed away on November 15, 2020, after cardiac arrest.

Richard was born on March 3, 1952, to Joseph and Theresa Pankiewicz in Chicago, IL. He worked as a mechanic for many years, both here in the United States and in Austria. He went on to work in IT for Computer Sciences Corporation for several decades, and worked from home throughout Anna's childhood after a heart attack in 2002.

After retiring in 2018 due to health issues, Richard spent his time calling Anna, making friends in the nursing home, and preaching to his fellow residents every Sunday. He deeply loved God, and he was a man that any daughter would be proud of.

Richard was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Theresa Pankiewicz. He is survived by his daughter, Anna Pankiewicz.
