Richard's obituary

Richard J. NIcolai passed away March 1, 2019 peacefully at home with family. He is survived by his wife for 62 years, Judy and his brother and sister. He is also survived by 4 children, 12 grandchildren and 5 great grand children. Richard was a Korean War veteran. He worked at Pabst Blue Ribbon Brewery for over 30 years. He was born in Newark, NJ and has lived in Fords and Forked River before retiring to Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Richard was an outstanding baseball player representing the army in Germany and receiving the honor of being selected for the Softball Hall of fame in Newark, NJ. Richard had a larger than life personality and sense of humor that made everyone remember him in life. In death we now have all of our memories, pictures and videos to provide some comfort. To borrow a quote from one of his favorite movies, "I'm at the top of the world mom!" We love you and will miss you always.
