Richard Myhre, age 92, died peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by family, in Palm Harbor, Florida on July 7, 2024.
Richard was born on February 13, 1932 in Gary, Indiana, to Thorbjorn and Marie Myhre. He grew up in Chicago and spent summers along the shores of Lake Michigan. After graduating from Fenger HIgh School in 1950, Richard studied engineering at Rose Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana. After college, he was commissioned …
