It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Richard "AppleJack or Dicky" Murphy, who peacefully took his eternal rest on November 6, 2023. Born on October 22, 1935, Richard lived a vibrant and fulfilling life, marked by love, laughter, and countless memories. 

Richard loved riding motorcycles. The wind on his face and the roar of the engine brought a sense of freedom and exhilaration that he cherished. This hobby was not merely an activity, but a testament to his adventurous spirit and love for life.

Richard's legacy is carried on by his loving children , Richard Murphy Jr., Wanda Hunter and Gary Murphy. They embody his values of love, resilience, and spirit, a living testimony to the remarkable father he was. His life's greatest joy was his family, who remain behind to celebrate his memory.

He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Margaret Cottman-Murphy and Daughter Donna Ann Murphy-Walker whose memory he held dear to his heart. Their enduring love story was inspirational and serves as a testament to the strength of their bond.

As we bid farewell to Richard, we remember his infectious smile, his comforting presence, his strength, and his unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will continue to live on through the lives he touched and the love he shared.

The funeral will be held November 18th at 10 am at Graves Temple 123 Church St,EHT NJ 08234
