I knew Rick well in the 70s (hi, Mark) and will always remember him as a gentle and kind soul. He's been on my mind for a week and I was googling to find him to catch up and see how he's doing. Now I know. Guess I just missed him. I will always think of him as one of the best people I've ever known, and I was so lucky it was during the best time of my life.  I'm off now to listen to "The Sad Cafe." Rick was a great friend of mine. Spent great times in Ozarks at my farm home with Rick and  Mark.   We called him Big Rick because our son was little Rick.              RIP BIG RICK

I knew him as Uncle Rick. I can definitely echo the remarks of his kindness and gentleness. I always remember Uncle Rick smiling and laughing. He will be missed 

Rick was a Very intelligent & caring Man. Great Football Coach. Lots of Love & kindness to young athletes. Memphis Fan to the core. Outdoorsman true and true. Great hunter & fisherman. Loved his Family so much. Amazing man. RIP. 🙏

Rick was such a sweet person. He was always pleasant and had a smile on his face. He will be missed.
