Richard Robert Labbe, 80 years old, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2024 at E.W. & Lucille Cates House in Ocala, Florida, with family by his side.

He was born on April 6, 1943 in Van Buren, Maine.  He was the son of the late Albenie and Evonne (Thibodeau) Labbe.  Richard went to high school in Van Buren.  He served in the U.S. Army.

He was a proud resident of Bristol, Connecticut for many years.  He worked at Pratt & Whitney in Southington, CT.  He retired and moved to Ocala, Fl.  He loved home cooked meals and dancing.  He enjoyed walking, swimming and being in the great outdoors.  He liked to sit outside on a sunny day.  He went to church faithfully.

He leaves behind one brother, Gerald Labbe, in Plantsville, CT, and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by five sisters; Georgetta Jordan, Corrinne Lackey, Theresa Blackburn, Lorraine Plourde, Joann Parker, and three brothers; Lionel "Pat" Labbe, Donald Labbe, and Harold Labbe.
