To Sandra and family. I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Rick. Even though I have not seen him for a very long time I have often thought about him from our time together as kids back when the family would occasionally come up to the Chicago area to visit our grandparents who lived in Michigan. I never thought I would never get to see him again but  time passes fast and everyone gets busy with their own lives. I was blessed to become part of the Jacobson family in 1999 when I became the “across the street neighbor “. Rick and Sandy welcomed me to the neighborhood on day one and the rest was an amazing ride watching our children grow and flourish. Rick was always so wonderful with his kids as well as mine. I will be forever grateful. My heart is breaking right along with Sandy and her family. I love you all so much and will miss Rick until we meet again some day. 

So sorry to learn about Rick’s sudden passing.  I remember him from Cutter and Julia’s wedding; his love and enthusiasm for his family was evident and you will surely miss him.

We are deeply saddened by Rick’s sudden passing. He was a wonderful man. We will always remember him for his kindness, warm smile, and fierce devotion to his family. You have our deepest condolences. Rick was probably the most devoted man to his wife and children .A very kind and soft spoken man which I had the privilege to be his friend! He had a great sense of humor on and off the golf course and we had lots fun together... I will truly miss him..... but I know that he  might not be with physically... I have him in my heart ❤️ and  spirituality...... And when I mess up my golf shot or something else I will feel him grinning laughing at me and telling me everything is going to be alright.....lots of love to ya Rick and all of your family!!!
