Richard and I were in kindergarten together!  He was my first "boyfriend" if you can call kindergarten love that.  He and I stayed friendly throughout the years growing up in school.  He will always be fondly remembered in my heart.  Prayers to the family for your grief.  See you again Rich.
Richard and I worked together at Elastic; he was the guy wearing the Steal Your Face pin who convinced me that going to see Dead & Company together would be a better use of our time than a planned company event. I learned a lot listening and talking with him; he will be missed by many, as he was a source of good insights and challenging points of view.
My condolences to Richard's family. I first met Richard at Splunk and some of the lessons he taught me I still use today.  He was always very generous with his time to mentor others and we would often work together to solve complex problems.  Whether it was having a good scotch, sharing a story on lessons learned or discussing the best way to help a customer.

My sympathies.  Richard and I had a special cousin connection for sure!  He was always there for me providing advice and guidance without judgement.  Rich will be missed.

Steve and I sat is disbelief after seeing this. So very sorry for you and the kids. Fond memories of those early years in Sudbury.
Lisa, Anna and family, we are heartbroken to hear this news.  We always enjoyed talking to Rich when we saw him at games, at your house or ours.  We know how sorely he will be missed in your family.  Our hearts are with yours.  Laura & Fran
