Although I didn't have a personable relationship with Richard I always looked  forward to our business meetings. I knew it would be friendly and we would not just talk about the insurance for his firm.

I felt good about the protection I provided for him and Bonnie, and I'm very sorry to see him die so young.

I still think about him.

Sincerely Tony Guggino

So sorry to hear about Richie 's passing. He was my camp counselor in 1969 and 1970, and we were very close at the time. I even visited him one weekend at Oberlin. He was a great guy and although we had not been in touch for many years, I remember him fondly. So sorry for your loss. Paul

So sorry to hear of the passing of Richard. He and I were classmates (1968 grads) of Westbury High School. My deepest condolences to the family and may you find peace and healing.
I remember when I needed an Attorney to save my house he introduced me. Tears running down my face as I type................
In response to "What act of kindness did you witness from Richard?"
Hearing him laugh at my bad Dad jokes
In response to "What was the most fun you ever had with Richard?"
Bonnie: You don't know me, but I wanted to reach out to you when I learned of Richard's untimely passing.
Richard was a good friend all through our years at Oberlin. We roomed together our sophomore year in a quad and were close companions during our undergraduate years along with friends Dale Nichols and Ken Bannerman. I had my first Seder Dinner at Richard's parent's house on Long Island on my first Spring Break freshman year. In fact, it was on that trip that I met my wife-to-be, Diane, and we had our first date at a get-together at Richard's parents house.
I last saw Richard around 1975 and regret disconnecting as we pursued careers and building families. I will always remember Richard as a kind, thoughtful person and will cherish those too-few memories of our times together. With love, Jim Deckant

Richard loved babies, children, family, friends, and most of all Bonnie. We are so very sad, but have so many warm and fun memories. Anita and Michael

It was my pleasure to have met such a good man.
Dear Bonnie and Melissa,

I want you to know that Rich was an important figure in my life, and I will miss him and think of him often. Bonnie, you and Rich were like my second set of parents for so many years. I always thought of him as a kind of protector and someone I could always count on. He was so supportive of me in all my endeavors and I always felt like he believed in me....which meant so much as I was growing up. I love you both very much, and it was so nice to see you just now on Zoom! Sending you all my love and support.

We loved the picture of Rich and Tabu so precious! He really loved Rich and both of you. We’re so glad Tabu brightens your lives. He’s a real hoot 😜
Rich had a great sense of humor. He was kind hearted and smart. We wish we could have gotten to know him better. We remember that you talked about how you met. You both just beamed at each other as u told us your story. 🥰

Wishing you strength for today and comfort in the days ahead, knowing how much your husband and father meant to so many
🌹💕

Rich will be missed .
