Dear Green Family, I recently came across a home video clip from my time as a staff member with Holiday on Ice during the South American 1972 tour. In it, there's a brief but vivid glimpse of Richard enjoying drinks and laughter with some of the stars of the show in Montevideo. We shared many memorable moments during that time, and I always cherished his warmth, wit, and wonderful spirit. He left a lasting impression on me, and I continue to hold him fondly in my memories. As we mark his recent birthday, I wanted to share this small piece of the past with you- a snapshot of Richard in his element, full of life. With warm Regards, Noel Rose, Sydney, Australia

Being birth mates totally added to the friendship. Thinking of Richard again today!
Dearest Pam,

Sincere condolences. May Richard's memories live on forever and provide some healing as you grieve his loss. I am part of your Woman's Club support and hold you in my heart.

Love and prayers, Margaret Leibfried

My deepest sympathy to you all. I only briefly meet Richard one time but through that meeting and hearing about him through Pam and Lindsey I know how greatly his humor, warmth, and love will be missed by many. Praying for comfort and peace for the Green family.
Here are some old school Birthday Home movies from 1956 - 1959! So now you know that Richard's personality had not changed. Enjoy! - Darrell Brand

Dear Pam and Family,

It was 1954 when our family moved to the Aquila Ave. / west 29th street area. The neighborhood was built on the old Westling farm property. Richard was the first kid on the block that I played with. There were lots of new home construction that allowed us to get into mischief. The one memory that I will never forget is the group dance lessons on Sunday that his mother Grace - taught us in the Green's basement. While still in grade school we could dance the Foxtrot and triple Lindy! Those social skills prepared us for those long canoe trips and sailing at Camp Warren.

Those were the days that we left home at an early age and started careers - no time for playing golf anymore at Oak Ridge. Its ironic that the last time I saw Richard was when he came to my Brother Howie's Shiva and now Richards Funeral is on my brothers Birthday. I will always remember Richard's smiling face and his sense of humor.

Peace and Love!

The Green Family. With deepest sympathy as you remember Richard. I was shocked and saddened to learn of Richards passing.(Via an email from Andy Steinfeldt) Whilst our paths have not crossed for decades he left a lasting impression on me from our first meeting in Montevideo , Uruguay, during his time with Holiday on Ice .He was such a kind hearted man with an amusing sense of humour .Sharing in your sadness.
