Richard "K" Gerry (Dick), 87, passed away peacefully in his home in Collins, Missouri on October 26th, 2021.

Richard was born in Topeka, Kansas, where he graduated high school in 1951. He then attended Kansas State College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering.

Richard served in the United States Navy from 1956 to 1962. He fought in the Korean War. His last rank achieved was Aviation Electronics Technician (Navigation) Petty Officer Second Class - ATN2. Richard was employed by and retired from Hyatt Regency Crown Center as an Electronics Engineer.

Richard is survived by his wife Cheryl Gerry; his children: Kenneth Gerry and his wife Pamela, Gerry R. Gerry and his wife Cindy, David Gerry and his wife Stephanie, Kathleen Fleener, Rhonda McCandless, Thomas Gerry and Hilary, Alicia Gerry-Smith and her husband Charlie, and Alexander Gerry and his wife Amira; his brother Robert Freer; his Grandchildren: Jonathan Gerry, Samantha Gerry, James Gerry, Matthew Gerry, Jacob Gerry, Holly Gerry, Thomas Gerry, David Gerry II, Stephen Gerry, Aaron Gerry, Daniel Gerry, Meghann Fix, Lauren Fleener, Taylor Fleener, Levi Fleener, Brandon Gray, Tyler Gray, Ashley Elliott, Ryan Wilkes, Lydia Cutler, Ryleigh Carter, Savannah Gerry, Adriel Smith, Manoah Smith, Aryeh Smith, Adnan Gerry, Ayida Gerry, Aviv Gerry, and Aram Gerry.
