Richard's obituary

Richard Lee Flores Sr., 71, of Hemet, CA, passed away on January 3, 2024. He was born on September 21, 1952. Richard was lovingly known as "Dickie", or "Big Dickie" in later years. He was a beloved father to Richard Flores Jr. and Ryan Flores. He was also a cherished grandfather to Brittanie Flores, Samantha England, Richard Flores III, Joshua Flores, Dominic Flores, and Isaac Flores, as well as seven great-grandchildren. Richard is survived by his brother, Rudy Flores, and sister, Rachel Villavicencio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Grace Flores, and eight siblings.

Richard attended Fontana High School and proudly served in the US Army. He had a passion for playing the guitar and harmonica, singing and listening to music, dancing, and riding his motorcycles. He also cherished moments spent at the beach and with his loved ones. Some would say he loved The Rolling Stones; but to Richard, he was their biggest fan.

A burial service will be held on February 9th, 2024, at 11:15am at the Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside CA; followed by a memorial from 1pm-6pm at the American Legion Post 106 in Redlands, CA.

Please join us in remembering and celebrating the life of "Dickie".
