Rich found his calling as a homebuilder. He didn't just build houses; he created homes and communities. Beyond his work, he was a man who treasured simple joys and deep connections. He found immense happiness in spending time with his family, whether it was watching Myles play or just sharing a quiet moment with Lisa in the garden. 

He is survived by his two devoted daughters, Katie Rice and Cory Wahl, her husband Travis Wahl and his cherished grandson, Myles Wahl; mother Sandra Rice; brother William Rice; sisters Lori Rice, Juliana Durrett, Camille Porter, Karen Rivera, and Sara Rivera; and ex-wife Tammy Young. He also leaves behind his loving partner, Lisa Way, and her children, whom he embraced as his own, creating a beautiful "bonus" family. Natalie, her husband Mark, sons Elias and Gavin Deserto; Candi, her husband Terry Martin; daughters Emiliana Hunter and Noelle Martin. 

He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
