Background
Hospice of the Chesapeake not only cared for Richard in his last days, providing comfort and dignity, but also the family. Their swift welcome and initiation of a veteran's bedside salute allowed our family to have an amazing day together that honored his service. This special day ultimately was his last, but what a beautiful day it was because of them.
