It was such a pleasure to know Richard throughout the years. We shared so many laughs together and the joy of watching him dress up in different costumes to make people laugh. He never left home without his Dr Pepper and we always made sure we had Dr Pepper on hand when he came to visit. He loved his family and valued his friends. Richard will be sorely missed . I always enjoyed chatting with him during family get togethers. We was so warm and friendly .

Grandpa was a joy in life, and he brought smiles and cheer to those around him, much like his inspiration, Santa. I have fond memories of him dressing up for holidays and entertaining people of all ages with his festive Christmas, Halloween and Easter costumes. He was a light in his community and will be deeply missed. I know you are up in heaven now, and the holidays will never feel the same without you. I love you, grandpa.

Richard and I remained friends since 2nd grade even w/me chasing him at recess to kiss him  and he had to climb a tree to avoid it!!  🤣. He was a great guy, loyal friend and a Red Devil thru and thru!  He will be missed!!  RIP. Barb Alleman
