Richard “Craig” Beebe, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in his home on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the age of 63.
Craig was born on May 29, 1960, in Carthage, Illinois, a son of Donald and Elizabeth (Rose) Beebe. In 1993, he married Linda Trevino in Harlingen, Texas. She survives.
He was known for his hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to his loved ones. After high school, Craig pursued his passion for automobiles by establishing an auto glass shop in South Texas, where he honed his skills and built lasting relationship within the community.
Later in life, Craig dedicated over two decades of service as a tow motor operator at Titan Wheel in Quincy, Illinois, where he was respected for his reliability and strong work ethic. His colleagues remember him fondly for his sense of humor and willingness to lend a helping hand.
Outside of work Craig enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who he adored. He cherished family gatherings, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever.
In his free time, Craig could be found tinkering in his shed, working on projects, or enjoying the tranquility of nature while mowing and fishing. He had a passion for simple joys in life and found fulfillment in the company of loved ones.
Craig is survived by his loving wife, Linda; children, Christina (Fred) Williams of Clarksburg, Missouri, Veronica (Tim) Phillips, of Golden, Illinois, Jackie (Nathan) Janssen of Coatsburg, Illinois, Jesse (Karen) Beebe of California, Missouri; several grandchildren, Makayla Elizabeth Williams, Cody Lee Willliams, Isabel Leann Williams, Owen Roth, Ileana Phillips, Easton Phillips, Caleigh Phillips, Sidney Gullete, Amalia Beebe, Taylor Beebe, Gabe Beebe, Alex Beebe, John Beebe, Dominick Janssen, Nataliegh Janssen, a brother Curtiss (Debbi) Beebe of Quincy, Illinois. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
