My sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of Richard "Rick" "Slick Rick" Loch. It's been a few years since I've been absent from the car show / cruise-in scene, but I've seen, heard and enjoyed Rick's variety of music! I'm sure Rick will be busy playing DJ in Heaven!

I remember helping Slick at a few DJ events. Around 10pm he would hand me the cordless microphone and tell me to hold it by the toilet then flush the toilet for a great sound effect.

Lost touch through the years life took us in different directions but Slick and I had a few years of fun.

Darlene, Jessica and Jason please accept my condolences for your loss.

MY thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. I loved working with Rick and always had some great laughs. He always treated people with respect and never failed to brighten my day. The stories we shared about cars while having a cocktail or lunch were some of the best. Gonna miss him. RIP buddy God bless.
Being new to the shrine he helped me navigate through his knowledge and volunteering for the circus he showed deep concerns, but the laughter showed in evert step. Rick "Slick" were my favorite memories of him at car shows. Live you, Rick.

R.I.P. ✝️ 🙏  My Condolences to the Family  😔

Sorry for your loss  😔, May he be at peace  🙏

Rick was the first Santa for my son in 1984.  Totally by surprise when I opened the door.

His generosity will be sorely missed along with his smile and friendship for both Mike and I.

I remember buying several pinball machines from Rick in the late 80s. Was always helpful with trouble shooting, and was great at teaching ways of servicing games. I am very surprised to learn of his passing. I'll always remember the backyard barbecues. He took care of his guests. Rick, keep the silver ball rolling up there!

Slick Rick and Darleen brought up the entire family to spin records for our wedding!
Did not read previous ones so if it's a rehash which I doubt there are so many stories. Brother John's pub I'll just say drinkin and fighting. I posted something earlier somewhere else but bears repeating he was one of the best storytellers I ever heard he could put you in the situation he was conveying,Like very few people have the ability to do. I almost pissed myself a few times laughing. I know the penmanship sucks but what do you want . I'm a greaser forever. Take care Rick! I'll either catch up with you later on or give me a wave as I'm going down. My heart goes out to his wife Darlene who I only met a couple times and his children I hope he was as pleasant to be around at home as he was when I knew him well. Good luck buddy on your trip on the mystery train.
Slick was an honorary Brewtown Cruiser Member and our clubs DJ for over 40 years. Many good times were had. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.  Ron and Joan Maleu and the Brewtown Cruusers Mercury Car Club.
As human beings, we all miss the physical presence of someone when we lose a loved one. We have to adjust our thinking about not seeing them,  hearing their voice and not feeling the physical hugs & handshakes we all were so used to... it's a harsh reality for those of us that are still here, yet Rick did exactly what God intended all of us to do which is to move on to the next phase of life... We should be celebrating his entry to heaven, but our hearts tell us to cry & mourn...Rick was truly someone you "wanted" to be around. He had a great aura about him and and always looked for the good things in life, which is why so many of us enjoyed being in  his company. Rick made the best of his time here on earth, and helped so many...he was, and will always be loved by us all! Let's celebrate him and be happy that he is in God's Paradise!
Wonderful memories going back to Rick and his mom came into Happy Daze for cocktails. far to many memories to tell here. He will be missed.
