Rich was my skateboarding coach, guru, historianand encyclopedia, and was always perpetually stoked to go have a skate session. He taught me how to 50-50 grind properly, which saved me from countless injuries and he had one of the best front side 5-0 grind to revert. He was there when I did my first perfect kick flip, which he coached me on, he was there when I knocked myself out on the expo 86 ramp at the Richmond skateboarder Ranch as a teenager. Our friendship started out because skateboarding, but it went way beyond that. He was also the best roommate I ever had: in four different houses. I was definitely looking forward to growing old sitting on the porch in a rocking chairs in our old age talking about the good old days while mocking each other out. After participating in some sort of sporting activity, of course.
See on the other side, Rich.

I have been playing Monday night ice hockey with Rich for years , I always lived his compitive drive and spirit . We will all miss him greatly , last week Brian had us all meet at centre Ice and say a few words , Brain and the team mates allowed my to pray in intercession for Richard's lovely wife and children as they process and grieve . May the Lord of heaven and earth be there supporting the family.
In Jesus precious name Amen
