Rhonda's obituary
Rhonda Daniels, born on April 30, 1971, passed away on July 21, 2023, leaving an indelible mark of kindness, generosity, and unconditional love. She was a pillar in her community and home, often described as supportive, selfless, loving, intelligent, and understanding. She stood as an emblem of strength and tenderness, sharing lessons of kindness, confidence, and empathy with everyone she met.
Rhonda was a remarkable woman who achieved many significant milestones in her life. Among these was successfully birthing seven children, 6 of whom she is survived by: Deja Brewer, Joseph Russell-Bridgens, Kendall Harris-Burton, Isaiah Harris-Burton, Diamond Daniels, and Sharonda Daniels. She was immensely proud of each of them, celebrating their graduations and fostering in them the values of humility, understanding, and respect for all. Education was equally important to her, as she earned her college degree in billing and coding, exemplifying determination and hard work.
In addition to her children, Rhonda is survived by her partner Robert Weldon, her sister Denise Moody, her brother Rodney Harris, and her dad Walter Moody, all of whom were dear to her heart. She cherished her family connections and touched the lives of several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, leaving a legacy of love and care that will forever endure.
Rhonda's profound love for her family extended even beyond this life, as on this day, she will be reunited with her son, Christopher J.B. Brewer. All who knew Rhonda felt her nurturing spirit, whether within her family or the broader community. She was deeply connected to her roots, belonging to the Fula tribe of Guinea-Bissau, and the Mende and Temne tribes in Sierra Leone, Africa, which brought her great pride and shaped her unique perspective on life and community.
Rhonda's memory will forever be cherished, her lessons held dear, and her legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to impact lives, just as she did when she was with us.
