Rex James Casstevens passed away Monday August 26th, at his home of over 65 in St.Charles. Born September 22, 1925, he was just short of his 94th birthday.

He leaves behind his three children: Thomas Upham (m.Karen), Susan Lutes (m. Maynard Lutes) and Edward Rex Casstevens. Four grandchildren: Jennifer (David Hahn) , Carly (Josh Pagano), David Upham , and Michael Upham. And three great grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Sophia Lena(Greiner) …

Rex requested no funeral services, but his immediate family attended the burial of his ashes at the Mt Zion cemetery in Shelbyville IL. where many other Casstevens family members are buried,near where he grew up.
