It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elder Reverend Dr. Steven Jones on March 16, 2024. Born on May 8, 1943, Dr. Jones devoted his life to spiritual service, touching countless lives with his compassion and wisdom. A beacon of hope and comfort, he will be remembered for his unwavering faith and dedication to the wellbeing of his community, and giving his all to the ministry, and the church.

He is survived by his accomplished daughters, Zaneta Jones and Dr. Stephanie Jones Forward (Brandon Forward) and son Steven Jones (Pam Jones), his granddaughters Alexis Jones and Zaida Jones, his nephew Al'Landrew Jones (Ste'Keira Shepperson), his honorary sister, Jackie Conliffe (Wharton Conliffe), and a host of cousins, extended church family, and close friends. His legacy will continue through the lives of those he influenced and loved. In these moments of mourning, let us remember Elder Reverend Dr. Steven Jones through his teachings and strive to live by the goodness that he shared through Christian principles.

The celebration of life for Elder Reverend Dr. Steven Jones will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at noon EST. The viewing will be from 11a - 12p EST - before the service.
