My deepest condolences and prayers for the family
My deepest sympathy to the family and congregation of Rev. D. Nagbe Wellington. I came in contact with bishop almost a year ago and we became friends. We talked or texted often if not every day. He loved fried eggplant and so I surprised him a couple of days after he got home from the hospital. I didn’t know that would be the last time that I would see him. He called me woman of God and I called him bishop. His came as a surprise to me, and I am still very shocked. My deepest condolences to all of you his children. Your dad loved you so much and spoke of you often. You were his pride and joy. He could not stop talking about how you helped him move into his new apartment and all the hard work that you put into making him comfortable in his new home. Bishop, rest well my dear friend.

The Great Rev D. Nagbe Wellington 🙏❤️

Richard was one of the nicest men I’ve ever met. It was always a pleasure to be around him. He definitely impacted my life in the short time that we worked together at Transit Team. I was unaware that he was a pastor, but I could always see the spirit of GOD in him.  Thank you for being an example Mr Wellington!

Your friend!

I'm so sorry for the loss of Rev. Richard Wellington. He was a family friend, a mentor, a community leader, a brother and a man who consented to my pastoral ordination. He will always be missed and remembered. Rest in perfect peace!!
