I worked across the hall from Reggie for a few short months while he was at the railroad. I thoroughly enjoyed the brief time we spent together, and that was mostly due to his great attitude and smile. I am so saddened to hear of his death, but I hope you are able to find some comfort in anecdotes like this. Reggie touched many people in his life!

I had shared some messages with him after I moved to Omaha and he transitioned to Las Vegas. He was truly a joy to be around and one of the most honest persons. You have a beautiful family. Hi Toni-

This is Terry Owens, now Carver. I am tremendously sorry and have heartfelt sadness for your loss of Reggie. As you know he was one of my favorite Return to Work managers and I was always in his corner in the hiring process. He was my pick always!

I always, and I mean always, loved his faith and enjoyed our sharing of faith and God’s control. I prayed for Reggie’s earthly healing and wellness. I know without a shadow of a doubt he resides with Jesus—as you do. I know your heart will be empty and it will take a long time to heal. I know when you look in those babies’ faces you will see your love.

I will shout a prayer over your children-not just whisper. If you continue what you and Reggie have done spiritually with your lives those children will love the LORD and be a legacy to their Dad and Mom.

I love you and commit to praying for your children always. Please let me know every season of their lives what I can pray for them.
