Reema Zoumut, 56, passed away the evening of July 26, 2021 after a 4 year battle with Ovarian cancer.

Reema was born February 6, 1965 near Chicago, Illinois to Hani and Aida Zoumut. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Wright State University in Dayton, Oh. After college she began teaching High School Art, Photography, Computer Graphics and Animation for the next 30 years. On October 24th, 1998, she married Kylan Swank. Together they raised two sons, David and Nathaniel.

Reema loved art, but even more so, she loved teaching. She was a wonderful teacher who had a strong dedication and love all of her students, treating them like they were her own children. She loved her family and friends more than anything else. She always made time to talk to her friends to support them whenever they needed. She touched many people's lives.

Reema was preceded in death by her father, Hani. She is survived by her husband Kylan, her two sons, David and Nathaniel, her mother Aida and her brothers William and John.
