Linda and I were bicycling to C&O CANAL Cumberland Cabin John when the pedal arm fell off my bicycle and was  in no shape to be reattached. I pedaled with 1 foot reaching Harpers ferry as night fell. I called Reed asking if he could come pick us up with his trailer which of course he did.

Probably 100 mile round-trip.
