Diana Sabacinski
1999, Tyler & Kenny Classmate's Birthday Party

From the moment I accidently placed my keys into Rebecca's purse at our sons classmate's birthday party, I knew that we would be lifelong friends.

We had a wonderful friendship for over 25 years.  She was the most thoughtful, kind, and loving person.  Rebecca was an inspiration to all due to her constant caring about others and her positive outlook on life.  I am certain she has a special place amongst the angels.

I loved Rebecca and will miss her more than words can express.  She truly lived a life worth celebrating!

With love,

Diana & Ken

Rebecca always has been a loving, sharing, bright, fun and wonderful friend to Lissa and to me.  I learned so much from her, but her support and love for Lissa was such a bonding experience for us all.  There was never enough personal time with her, but her thoughtful correspondences and precious cards will always be something to cherished.

My love and hugs for Dale,  and also for her wonderful children and grandchildren who brought her such joy.

The loss of Rebecca will create a huge void for so many.

With love,

Marcy Nolan

My condolences to Rebecca's family. I first met Rebecca when she was the most gracious PTO mom at American Heritage School. Not only did she devote her time to benefit the students at American Heritage, she would never come to the school empty-handed. There were ALWAYS baked goods brought to the school offices.

When Rebecca was away for her treatment and Tyler was scheduled to graduate, she entrusted me with the honor of photographing/videotaping Tyler's procession through this milestone. It was an honor to be the photographer for Rebecca.

Even long after Tyler graduated high school, every year, on my birthday, Rebecca would send me a text with the warmest wishes. She was so thoughtful, even remembering that I lost my father on my birthday years prior.

Rebecca broke the mold in kindness and empathy. The world is a little less bright without her light.

To Dale, Tyler, and Rebecca's extended family, please accept my deepest and most sincere condolences. May her memory be a blessing and a constant source of comfort.

My heartfelt condolences to all the members of Rebecca’s family specially Dale , Tyler and Diana. Rebecca was an exceptional person with a great heart and care for all others. Her ever smiling face was a constant reminder of her generosity and kindness. She will be dearly missed and will always remain in our hearts. May God grant her a peace ful abode in Heaven.

I am so sad to learn that our dear friend Rebecca passed away after a courageous 14-year battle with multiple myeloma. We first met Rebecca and Dale in 2012, when our son and their son, Tyler, became roommates at Duke University. At that time, Rebecca had just completed treatment, yet her positivity and strength left a lasting impression. Over the years, we grew close, and I cherished her thoughtful cards and text messages during holidays and birthdays. Rebecca’s caring and loving nature touched our lives deeply.

We are heartbroken by her passing and will miss her terribly. Dale and Tyler, please accept our deepest condolences.

Sincerely

Lily Lin &  Eric Yin

I was so sad to hear about Rebecca's  passing. I met her at Weston Hills CC when I moved there and she has always been the sweetest friend.  We moved alot and she has always kept in touch through mail and facebook.  She was a strong, sweet beautiful soul and she will be missed dearly. Hugs and prayers to all her family and friends. RIP.

I am so sad to hear that we’ve all lost Rebecca. I think we all thought she would stay with us forever. We may never see another example of the strength she showed us all for someone fighting to stay for her family and friends. What an incredible woman, friend, and mother. I know how much joy she had becoming a grandmother too. She has given us a great example to follow.  I will miss her and our long talks about everything under the sun!

Please accept my RSVP for her celebration of life. I will see you next Saturday.

Rebecca’s passing aches my heart and it took me two days to actually believe it. When my daughter Diana, called me crying I could not believe what I was hearing. She truly was an inspiration to everyone she knew! She loved life and fought for life until her last breath and never gave up! Her beautiful smile and her thoughtful cards on everyone’s special days will definitely be missed! I will miss her texts requesting photos of Tyler and Diana whenever they visited me! Rest in peace Rebecca ! You will always remain in our hearts and prayers!🌸🌸🌸 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
Words cannot express the beauty of Rebecca inside and out. To say we were truly blessed to have her in our lives is an understatement. Her love for life and internal strength can never be compared nor replaced.  Her love of family and friends were so personal to her, the amount of cards sent stands alone. She is the only one that always remembered our anniversary and always sent a card. The Supreme Court is now considering whether our marriage should remain, somehow I know Rebecca is up there litigating for us. We love you forever and always.
Rebecca and I met when Tyler and our son played golf together on the American Heritage Golf Team. That first meeting was the start of a beautiful friendship. Rebecca was one of the most loving, giving, inspiring, positive people I have ever met. Over the years I have watched her grace in the face of challenges that would crumble most people quickly. Her example of living with gratitude is one that I will always try to follow. Her presence will be greatly missed, but lessons she shared will live on in my heart forever. Todd and I will join you next weekend to celebrate a most amazing friend. - Sherra Payne

I was very sorry to hear about the loss of Rebecca!  She was a fighter and always had the best attitude!  She was always more concerned with what was going on with everyone else and how they were doing.  She inspired me whenever we spoke.  I will miss all our talks and laughs but the memories will stay with me forever!  I love you Rebecca. ❣️

We are heartbroken to hear of Rebecca’s passing, she was such a kind and thoughtful friend.  We always enjoyed getting cards from her and spending time with her when we were able to.  May she Rest In Peace. 🌸

My family and I are crushed at the passing of one of the most amazing human beings we have ever known. I have been lucky enough to have been friends with Rebecca for the past 25 years. I will miss her wisdom, her courage, her will to live and her will to fight, her thoughtfulness and for her genuine caring for everyone that she loved as well as their family members. She never ever missed a birthday or special occasion for myself, my husband and my children. Rebecca made me want to be a better friend and a better person. I am so lucky to have have known her ❤️ . I will definitely be attending Rebecca’s memorial.

My heart is breaking at hearing of Rebecca’s passing. She was such an inspiration to those who knew her. Her love of family and her friends elevated her to such a blessed level. While I moved away last year she never forgot to send wishes my way on special days. Rebecca is surely dancing with the angels today. Farewell my dear friend.
We were blessed to have been friends with such a strong woman who was brave beyond words. Her kindness will remain in our hearts always.
