Rebecca Lynn McInroe Egly

Preceded by her grandfather " Papaw" James Dan Allen and her father Tony Lane McInroe. Rebecca leaves behind her mother, Leigh Anne Allen; her grandmother, “Mimi” Anita Spradley Allen; her brother, "Bo" Edward Lane McInroe; and her two children, Kara and Tristan Desso.

Born to Leigh and Tony, August 19, 1987, at Hendricks Medical Center North in Abilene Texas, affectionately known as Becca, Bex, Bec Bec, but never Becky (Never twice) she was a handful of sugar and a truckload of spice from the start. Everyone who knew her can attest to the way she changed a room. She brought sparks of joy, snarky sarcasm, and laughter with her everywhere she went:

Though she often doubted herself as so many brilliant women do, Becca's quick wit and sharp intellect served her through Cisco Junior College and on through San Angelo State University. An astute introvert, a connoisseur of alone time, and a loving soul. Becca could never quiet her compassionate heart. You may never have happened upon her save by happy accident but if you were lucky enough to find your way into her circle she’d love you fiercely, protectively, and without ceasing

On October 21, 2009, the universe shifted for Becca when she became a mother and welcomed her daughter Kara into this world. November 3, 2010, it shifted again with the arrival of her son Tristan. Being their mother was her world. If nothing else could be remembered about her beautiful soul, she would want her children to know how much she loved them.

Becca was so loved by us, all of us blessed to know her. Our worlds shifted when she came into our lives and it shifts again as we struggle with broken hearts to say goodbye. Gone from the reach of our fingers, the embrace of our arms, and the view of our mourning eyes. Becca, you will never leave our hearts. We love you.

The family will hold a celebration of life for Becca privately. Please respect the family’s need for this time alone together.
